Scott developed the Foil Supersonic with one thing in mind - pure race speed. However, when it comes to getting crucial parts, availability has been anything but fast. After what seemed like eternity, we received components necessary to custom build one of these high-speed machines.
A size 54 Foil, full carbon. That’s carbon everything - frame, fork, steer tube. All combined, the weight of the frameset is 1320g.
The new 12 speed Ultegra Di2 R8150 kit handles the drivetrain. The junction box for the system is… not there. The new Di2 system doesn’t use a junction box. Instead, the shift levers are wireless and the derailleurs are internally wired to the battery located inside the seatpost. The system is charged by a cable that connects to the rear derailleur.
We love ENVE and this is a place for the SES 4.5’s to shine. There the perfect balance of all purpose race wheels and aerodynamic. And of course, they look great with the aero lines of the Foil.
Challenge Paris-Roubaix tires keep the rubber on the road.
We completed the build with Syncros seat post, Prologo saddle, and the Syncros Crestin SL integrated bar and stem combo - which certainly completes the aero build and puts the rider in a total attack position.
