The Classic EVO 2 Disc represents Cannondale’s first-generation disc brake SuperSix EVO, combining the legendary ride quality of the EVO platform with early, ultra-lightweight disc integration. At the time of its release, the EVO Disc was widely praised for its smooth ride, low weight, and exceptional control—earning a reputation as one of the lightest disc-compatible road frames in the world.

This frameset is an excellent upgrade option for riders coming from EVO 1 or EVO 2 rim-brake models who want to move to disc brakes without dealing with the cross-compatibility challenges of newer frame standards. With the exception of a disc-compatible wheelset, most existing components can transfer directly over.

Note: Front axle is thru-axle, while the rear remains quick release—making it an easy transition from earlier EVO builds.
