Developed through an exclusive collaboration between Specialized, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Mips, the Mio 2 was engineered using advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to better understand the unique protection needs of growing toddler heads. The result is a helmet featuring more low-density EPS foam for enhanced impact energy management while maintaining a lightweight, compact profile.
