The FOX 34 SL Factory is a lightweight 29er suspension fork built for modern XC and downcountry bikes that demand more travel, stiffness, and tire clearance without excessive weight.

This Factory Series version features Kashima-coated 34mm stanchions and the lightweight GRIP SL Push-Lock damper, providing remote-operated Open, Medium, and Firm compression modes for efficient climbing, fast transitions, and controlled descending.

Chassis & Suspension Design

Compared with the FOX 34 SC, the 34 SL uses a broader chassis layout with an aggressive arch and crown design engineered for increased stiffness and additional travel.

FOX specifies:

• 17% increase in stiffness

• 10mm increase in travel

• Only 3% increase in weight

• 20mm more bushing overlap for increased stiffness and reduced friction

• No increase in axle-to-crown length from the additional bushing overlap

The longer air spring and increased negative volume are designed to combine a supple initial stroke with supportive mid- and end-stroke performance.

GRIP SL Push-Lock Damper

The lightweight GRIP SL Push-Lock damper is designed specifically for short-travel XC applications and provides three remotely controlled compression settings:

• Open

• Medium

• Firm
