The Specialized Recon 3.0 brings much of the legendary performance found in the S-Works Recon—power transfer, comfort, and lightweight efficiency—into a versatile shoe built for XC racing, gravel riding, and adventure terrain.

At the core of the Recon 3.0 is Specialized’s proven Body Geometry technology, designed to optimize hip, knee, and foot alignment for improved efficiency and reduced injury risk. Paired with a carbon outsole and Carbon STRIDE toe-flex technology, the Recon 3.0 allows natural toe movement for walking and hike-a-bike sections while maintaining a stiff, efficient platform when pedaling.

The XPEL Mesh upper sheds water and dries quickly, helping the shoe stay light even in wet or muddy conditions. Meanwhile, the SlipNot™ rubber outsole and removable toe studs provide confident traction when you're off the bike.

Dual BOA® L6-Snap dials combined with a Velcro forefoot strap allow for quick, precise micro-adjustments to keep the fit secure and comfortable during long gravel rides, technical XC races, or extended mixed-surface adventures.
