Sturdy construction for miles of reliability
100% Surly Chromoly steel, double-butted main triangle, and TIG-welded joints. An ED coating extends life in harsh conditions, while a non-suspension‑corrected geometry ensures confident handling across varied terrain.
Versatile integration and mounting
- Horizontal slotted dropouts with Gnot-Boost spacing for 135mm QR, 142x12 thru-axle, or 148x12 Boost hubs
- Rohloff torque arm slot and threaded eyelets for fenders, racks, Surly trailer mounts
- Full-length Trip Guide routing with line guides; two bottle cage mounts; upper seatstay threaded barrels
- Mid- and low-blade through-blade fork eyelets; threaded holes for racks and fenders

Function-first geometry and clearance
Disc brakes only with 51mm IS mounts; rear rotor max 160mm (adaptor included). 29 x 2.5" or 27.5 x 3" tire clearance opens up gravel and mixed-terrain possibilities without compromising steering feel.
